Question by †®€Åç∫€: How do people drown in the bath?
Over the years I’ve heard from loads of different sources that many people drown in their bathtub every year. I realise that some of them must be victims of strokes or heartattacks who are unconscious and drown that way, but I’ve also heard people say that a fairly high number of people just ‘fall asleep’ and drown that way.

Is that true or is just an ‘old wive’s tale’? And if it is true, why the heck don’t they wake up the minute they get a lungful of water??! Enquiring minds need to know.
